If you've been following our family's blog for some time, you may have wondered why there haven't been any recent posts about courtship. Have we changed our minds about the concept of courting rather than dating?
The answer to that question is no. We remain committed to the idea of courtship. However, we've also come to realize that publicity about a courtship can put pressure on the couple to come to the conclusion that they should marry, whether they believe that is God's plan for their lives or not. We don't ever want our children to experience that kind of undue stress while trying to make the biggest decision of their lives.
However while this blog has been silent, a courtship has been underway in our family. Stay tuned for the story!
