Adoption Update: Please Pray

17 January 2010, nearly midnight on my 48th birthday
We learned today that a document request has been made that could slow our adoption by between one and two months. This news is agonizing when you're preparing to add a daughter who will be 15-1/2 this month. Her childhood is slipping away.

Would you please join us in praying that God will intervene on our behalf?

We are clinging to Him and running to His word.

"Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, 'Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.'" 2 Chronicles 14:11

Thanks, Mac! Your support means SO much to us! We're grateful to the Lord that our summer's blessing included meeting you and your brother.

Praying for all of you. This is not a hard request for God. All things are possible with Him!

I'll be praying!! That's got to be hard, but it's amazing to know we serve a God who controls all things.

We continue to pray! We understand the ordeal with all these documents and so forth. We've come upon a hiccup with our own registration for our 3 year visa. We were hoping to be finished with this process in the next week but will now have to wait 2-3 weeks maybe longer. We are all learning about God's perfect timing in all areas of our lives and also learning to trust Him in everything.

Dear Reynolds,

I am praying for you all. This must be such a difficult time. Thankfully, we know that God has a plan in all of this.
