Today the Henns and the Nordstroms came over. Lunch was on the menu for the kids, and adult conversation was on the menu for the moms.
During our time together, a very special thing happened. Oksana got to hold a baby for the first time. Oksana had no younger siblings in Russia, so the only contact she would have had with babies was when she was a baby--before she was moved to the older child orphanage.
We discovered our seven-year-old is a natural. She sat still with "Squish" in her lap for at least twenty minutes.
What a happy little "mama"!
