It's been an unusual fall here in northwest Iowa. We made it through the entire autumn with out seeing a single snow flake. Until today.
When forecasters began predicting snow for Saturday, our whole clan was excited. We love snow's ability to transform everything it blankets.
After we traveled to a funeral in rural southwest South Dakota today, returning home at dusk. I immediately ran outside with our camera.
I didn't manage to get the dried geranium blossom in focus, but I like the stair rail in the back ground.
If you look closely, you can see individual snow flakes. And every snow flake is different! Isn't God amazing?
