If It Weren't for Adoption...

Mrs. Beaver:

Oksana (8) with her niece, Brielle (6 months)

If the little girl in braids hadn't been adopted, she'd never have had any brothers or sisters. She also would have missed out on the delight of being an auntie. Thank You, Lord, for placing the lonely in families. Thank You for placing Oksana in our family! (Psalm 68:6)

I adore seeing the hopeless expressions of former orphans turn to such hopeful and joyful expressions!!

Hi! I saw your comment on Linny's blog about adopting siblings and came over and started reading your blog. Would you allow me to email you and ask you questions about sibling adoption and older adoption. I personally only know families who have adopted little ones and my husband would love some wisdom and wise counsel from someone who has experience. Thanks for considering my request. :o). Adoption is such a great picture of our spiritual adoption - where God takes those of us who were without hope, gives us hope and a future, and showers us with blessings. You did a great job of representing that in this photo.
