Here are some photos from our very special second day at our children's orphanage. As I mentioned in a recent post, we can't publish identifying pictures until the adoption is final. The is an understandable restriction for the safety of the children, but one that is HARD for proud parents. We long to show you how beautiful our children are! They are "fearfully and wonderfully made"! (Psalm 139:16)
Until we can share pictures of our kiddos here are some photos of the four of them and their kids. The children are all dressed up because Saturday was "First Bell," the first day of school across Russia which is treated as a reason for celebration.
In this photo our daughter is in the middle, sandwiched by two of five siblings in need of a family.
Here two of the sibling group of five are sharing a coloring book we brought--go to the Russian Orphan Lighthouse Project blog to learn more about these five. They're PRECIOUS! If we weren't chasing our Fab Four, we'd be chasing this beautiful sibling group
We're just about to board our flight from Moscow to Lissie's new home in a Central Asian country where she'll serve as a teacher for an American family. I'll finish the post with my youngest daughter's elaborate white hair bows--a tradition for little girls on "First Bell"
