Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport
From Denise: When the two of us traveled to Russia in January to meet the children we hoped to adopt, our oldest son, Joe, coined a term for the effort: Operation Liberate the Fatherless. Well, Operation Liberate the Fatherless has been deployed! We're so grateful to God that this day has arrived.

The wait to be able to retrieve our kids has seemed long as we've waded through mounds of paperwork. However, we counted the months this morning as we were waiting to take off, and it has been nine months since we began the adoption process in mid January. Our adoption of Tatiana, Natasha and Princess Bink took fourteen months. We praise God  for His tender mercies along the way.
Our first stop is Minneapolis. From here we'll board a "direct" flight for Moscow that stops at JFK for an hour for a change of airplane.

I just heard they'll board in five minutes. More later...
