Trip into Town, Part 2

Mrs. Beaver:

Tallest flagpole in the world

A beautiful mosaic on the city's main street

Wendy (on the far left) and I were lagging behind the rest of our group as we approached the Institute where Scott would help Lissie register for language study.

Lissie's new school

Scott, Mr. Beaver and Lissie went in to process paperwork...

While they worked on paperwork, Wendy and I stayed with their kiddos in a park-like area within the fenced campus which was shaded by very tall trees.

Well, once again I'm going to draw this post to an end before the story is finished. We've reached our last night with Lissie before we begin the long trek aback to the U.S. We've already shed some tears as we anticipate parting from one another. Our plan is to have a time of singing with Scott and Wendy's family, and I think more tears will fall as we worship together before saying our goodbyes. The inevitable long-drawn-out hugs have to take place tonight because a taxi is due to pick us up at 2:30 a.m.

I will continue to pray for Lissie as she adjusts to her new home and her classes. And I will pray for you two as you head home; for your safety and health. God bless!

My prayers are with all of you as you make this major adjustment! "The Lord is my refuge and my strength; whom shall I fear?"

Safe travels to you Mr and Mrs Beaver!
